Standard Package
Our most popular inspection package, built for everyday Japanese, Korean and Australian-market vehicles. A full 100+ point mechanical, electrical and cosmetic check at the seller's address, anywhere in Sydney.
The Standard inspection is our core pre-purchase package and suits the vast majority of everyday used cars sold in Sydney — Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai, Kia, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru and similar mainstream Japanese, Korean and Australian-market vehicles.
Every Standard inspection begins with a cold engine start — never a car the seller has already warmed up — because the first thirty seconds of a cold start reveal more diagnostic information than almost any other part of the process. From there, our licensed mechanic works through a structured 100+ point checklist covering the engine bay, underbody, brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, interior, electrical systems and bodywork.
We finish with a real-world road test on local streets, an OBD-II diagnostic scan for stored and pending fault codes, and a full VIN and compliance plate cross-check against the paperwork. You receive a same-day photographed report and a direct phone call with a clear, plain-English verdict before the mechanic leaves the seller's property.
The Standard $250+ package is designed for mainstream vehicles under roughly $25,000 without unusually complex electronics, dual-clutch transmissions or air suspension. If you're looking at a European or prestige brand, a large modern 4WD, a hybrid or an electric vehicle, we generally recommend stepping up to the Premium $280+ package, which adds paint thickness testing, a module-level scan and an extended road test.
Not sure which package suits your specific car? Call us with the make, model and year and we'll recommend the right package before you book — there's no obligation and no pressure either way.
Call us with the seller's suburb, the car's make, model and year, and a link to the listing if you have one. We'll confirm a time — usually within 24 to 48 hours, and often the same day if the deal is moving quickly.
You don't need to attend the inspection yourself. We deal directly with the seller, and most of our clients are working, interstate or simply too busy to be on-site. You'll get a phone call and the full report the same day the inspection is completed.
